Hello

Here are the stories of my growth and my company’s growth.
.

I come from families of enterprising people on both my mother’s and father’s side. Meanwhile, my parents worked day jobs and also managed a farm at my grandmother’s place. My father still managed to go fishing and hunting in the early mornings and evenings.
.

As a child, I grew up in Hiiumaa, in the village of Suureranna, at the Jaago/Jaagu farm, located by a charming bay.
During the Soviet era, this area was part of a border zone where locals were only allowed to move with permits from the Border Guard.
.

As a child, I had to go “nodimas” (picking things up) in all kinds of weather because the sea washed foreign goods ashore. We even took joy in colorful plastic bags.
.

About my roots: My maternal grandfather was shipowner Mihkel Jaago. In my childhood, there were still many maritime-related items in the barn.
Including diving suits that were later taken to the Tallinn Maritime Museum. Living by the sea, among wooded groves and fields, gave me long experience in dressing comfortably for windy and stormy weather in different places.
When choosing a name for my company, I went back to my roots.
My husband’s family name is Jaarma; my life has many “Jaatus” names and R letters in family names.
So “Jaagor” was born from Jaago and Kark-Jaarma, with “Desire” added.
When creating products, I first thought about fulfilling my own needs—to feel as comfortable as possible outdoors with children, in our versatile climate, for as long as possible.
.

Jaagor — because as an animal, I like the cute and strong jaguar, which is also a good swimmer and climber. Since my father, a hunter and fisherman, taught my brother and me to drive a car early on, I also like faster and more comfortable cars. Jaguar, as a car, reminds me that as a sewing company owner, I try to sew products not only beautifully but also with high quality and as quickly as possible, taking into account many buyers’ and customers’ wishes.
Besides being a mother of four children, since 2002 I have experience using various strollers, including for twins. After the birth of my last two children, I tried many different strollers for comfortable rides on rocky roads. I searched in the world of Unicorn baby strollers.
After the birth of my last child, I became stroller-dependent. I currently have 8 different popular stroller models at home for prototype development and size checking.
.

Oh yes, I’m a lifelong learner. Thanks to increased sales of my company’s products, I started learning social media marketing. My company has now been operating for 3.5 years.
. Last week, I began studies under Margit Eerma to review my company’s strategies, including marketing strategies.
. It became clear again how important it is to stand out from competitors by sharing your life and stories.

Such a versatile and interesting life, with family roots like mine, is hard for others to replicate.
.

There aren’t many known living descendants of the Jaago shipowner family. I am very happy that 3-4 years ago I decided to support my company with this lovely family name.
.

I thank my loved ones and life for the wonderful and versatile positive development opportunities.
