Is the rain cover universal or should I choose by size?
Jaagordesire.eu sews rain covers in two sizes — L and XL. These are larger than universal rain covers. L size rain covers fit strollers with longer or higher canopies. XL size covers fit models with very long canopies. Jaagor Desire OÜ has added some allowance to the rain cover patterns so that the entire canopy is covered by the cover. These rain covers have a longer canopy section than universal covers sold in stores.
Which stroller models are the rain covers suitable for?
L size rain covers fit strollers like: Thule UG2; Roan; Baby Jogger City Mini GT2
XL size rain covers fit strollers like: Thule UG3 and UG4; Cybex Talos S Lux; Bumbleride Era; Bumbleride Indie; Emmaljunga; ABC Design Salsa.
How to properly care for and clean the rain cover?
You may (but don’t have to) iron the rain cover on top with a modern iron that has a Teflon soleplate, carefully, on an ironing board.
You should use a low-temperature setting designed specifically for synthetic fabrics (Synthetics).
Rain covers can be washed/cleaned by wiping the surface with a damp cloth.
As a parent of four children over the years, I have never felt the need to wash the rain cover.
Drying: After heavy rain or sleet, leave the rain cover to dry on the stroller if possible! Or carefully remove it and hang it to dry in a place without sharp edges. Light-colored fabrics on newer strollers can even be sensitive to water droplets. That is why our product range includes rain covers with zippers, making them convenient to put on and take off the stroller.
Since the rain cover fabric is THIN, care must be taken when using rain covers. SHARP EDGES, EDGES, or long nails can damage the fabric.
Is the rain cover foldable and how much space does it take?
The rain cover folds nicely and fits into a bag, which usually comes with the order. The bag can be attached to the stroller handle with clips or placed in the stroller basket underneath.
Is the rain cover suitable for all weather conditions?
The rain cover is meant for use in wet, rainy, or windy weather. Leaving it in direct sunlight may degrade its properties and cause color fading. Also, the rain cover keeps the stroller temperature higher, which can be harmful to the child in hot weather. Very cold weather may also weaken the cover’s properties.
Are there rain covers available in different colors?
The online store offers rain covers in various colors: fuchsia pink, royal blue, olive green, and classic black.
Both zipper and zipperless models are available. The zipper is located slightly to the side and is conveniently long to make it easy to handle the child.
